Painted over the Christmas Period of 2022, I wanted to test the waters with a different kind of painting. Here is a crack at a contemporary abstract art piece. Shine and reflections have always been something on my mind therefore I took the opportunity to really explore those vivid colours, those expressive marks, the depths of the crimsons, lights of the whites. The light bouncing off the golden bauble cap, the slight of mark just to give the impression of depth. I absolutely fell in love with it.
